A guy that you have projected to play on your 1st line and is only making 1.5M for the next 2 years before he is an RFA... is worth a 1st and 2 mediocre prospects?

With the cap likely going to 82.5 for next season, I could see Tampa trading Killorn for good value, re-signing Palat around 5 aav, then keeping the Palat-Point-Kucherov 1st line intact while having the 2nd line be Hagel-Cirelli-Stamkos. Tampa would also have around 850-900k to fill in the 22nd player(or in your agm around 1.35 to do so). It's just my personal preference to get a couple of good pieces back for Killorn this offseason rather than watch Palat walk for nothing.
