Description
Does anybody know which of the top 10 ranked players for this upcoming draft are planning to stay out of the NHL so they can develop more? ( L. Hughes, Beniers, Power, etc.) Are there any players who have come out and said that they will spend a few years developing? If not, when would we find this out? Thanks!

I think the better question is: who among them is actually NHL-ready?

Wright, Nemec are probably the only two for sure. Slafkovsky could be the third. Cooley will play a year in college. Lambert will play another year in Liiga. Savoie probably needs two years. Jiricek is coming off injury. Miro has only things to worry about first.

Some of the American players declare for NCAA teams already, like I know Cooley is committed to U of Minnesota next season.

I have a feeling Miroshnichenko falls to the second round

Not just because he’s Russian but the recent news about his health

Maybe, maybe not, I don't think I could see a top contender that still has their first round pick passing him.
