I realize this will likely never happen, Jack Hughes is so important to the Devils, and Canucks would never be able to aquire him without trading a Pettersson or Demko. But it's fun to think about.

I mean thats probably a fair offer? Hughes is elite, including his own GM on signing that contract, I would've waited for more production from him first if I somehow was a GM. I don't think its terrible value though from VAN

Would not do this from Vancouver’s end. Boeser Horvat and that first round pick pretty will 100% have a larger impact than one Jack Hughes

Both fanbases should probably not expect a trade with the other. It's a nice idea but won't happen

It's debateable, Hughes is the best player in the trade, so its a question of: would you rather have one Tier S player, or two A players and a 1st(assuming you view Bo and Boeser as As).

I definitely don't expect it whatsoever, was just interested to hear from Devils fans on the value of the deal.

I don’t get this logic because in every Quinn Hughes trade, Canucks fans say Holtz + 1st has to come back. But for Jack Hughes, who is better and more valuable than Quinn, this is an overpayment for him?

swap that package for Pettersson + Demko if you want NJ to remotely consider moving Jack.
