It is absolutely wild to me that people constantly hate on Trotz as if he didn't just lead us to two straight ECF's, including being essentially one Yanni Gourde goal away from winning a Stanley Cup (we would've beaten the Habs). There is no coach better that would come here right now. He is a HOF coach and Stanley Cup champ. As for the development point, look at Dobson. We all whined about him sitting parts of last year and now he's drawing comparisons to Makar (Anson Carter) and was ranked 5th on the Athletic's Norris watchlist. I can almost guarantee more run for Wahlstrom post deadline and next season in that similar pattern like we did with Dobson.
