Description
1. Based the Giroux trade off the internet rumors. So who knows how accurate that is.
2. Get bottom 6 help, with Nuke to 3rd and LOC to 4th line should be better
4. Acquire reliable defensive help for all situations. Dont know if this is enough for Seattle but seems like plenty for a rental 38 yoa DMan.
4. Replacement 4C, needed someone at Helm money but better than him. Carpenter was about it. Dont know about the return for CHI, but COL could throw in a lower-tier prospect to make it work.

Montreal doesnt take that. Murray's contract is over at the end of the season and he most likely won't resign with Montreal. Even if he did, I would still prefer to keep lehkonen. A 2nd and a 4th isnt enough for Montreal to move him.

“We’re not trying to trade him right now. I think I’ve said that about a number of players on our team. We’re not trying to trade them, but that doesn’t mean we wouldn’t receive phone calls with regards to them. And if something happens…”

Ao he sais what ive been saying in the past month, any team that want to acquire him will have to pay the big price.

I don't even know if it would be a big price (I don't think the Toffoli trade was a big price and it was a similar situation). Its more that Lehkonen is not a rental and won't be traded like one. He's a good player and fits the team going forward.

No Hugues made it clear to Eric Engels in off record exchange that they are not shopping Lehkonen but if there a team that came with a offer that make sense for them they will have to at least explore the possibilities. Yes he is a good players but if a team is willing to pay a similar price then Blake Coleman. I could see Hugues taking that offer.
