You extending Campbell to that while calling for dubas to be fired is peak CF. Just brutal

When he was in allstar form just 4 months ago everybody would say $5 million is too low, funny how it goes.

Especially after being confirmed he has been playing injured for a couple months now.

It cost a 2nd Rd pick to get rid of the first mistake, the other mistake has an extra season and higher cap hit. 1st Rd pick to get rid of Mrazek, or buyout, rot on the Marlies.

To think Dubas fans love to bring up trading assets for Lou's mistakes; traded Brown to rid themselves of Zaitsev and a 1st Rd pick to get rid of Marleau.

Seems Dubas has copied Lou.

No,it cost a potential 2nd round pick to get rid of ritchie and get a useful player that people around here were saying would cost a 2nd or 3rd outright.
Lou lovers love to pretend that dubas was the only one to sign bad contracts despite half the islanders roster he signed being on bad contracts and more than half the ones he did with the leafs too

Good call, Lou had taken over a team which missed the playoffs and had just lost their franchise player to the Leafs, yet Lou managed the team to 5 playoff series victories and 2 Conference Finals.

Tell me Dubas resume ?

btw, NO ONE would ever suggest Lubushkin trade value was anything higher than a 5th Rd pick.

Yeah, lou did a miracle by having a team built by garyh snow make him look really good while the contracts, defence and goaltending he left dubas was a sewer.

Matthews, Marner, Nylander, Kadri, Brown, JVR, Rielly, Gardiner, Holl, Liljgren, Freddie were all gifted to Dubas. Must be nice.

Lou hires the best NHL coaches available, Dubas hires the Marlies rookie NHL coach.

Dude, just give up, you are losing.

Dubas overplayed his hand, give an average backup goalie 3.6 million while talking contract with your starter. Campbell will be signing for so much more than Mrazek, way to set the market value Dubas, you're a genius.

Hiring the best coach available? Wow, that must have been real hard. I hear he did that once before on a previous team, wonder how that worked out. And that marlies coach has a better record than both of those best in the world coaches does since he was hired.
And again, lou was gifted the entire team except for like 2 forth liners while dubas had to rebuild the entire defence.
You're doing as well as the islanders chances at making the playoffs this season

He just wanted to make an agm where he could say dubas was fired, that's the only thought put in here. The rest was just filler that he filled out asap without thinking

It wasnt a mistake more like things didnt go as planned

If Mrazek could have stayed healthy maybe with more games he would have been fine. Maybe not

The team also doesnt help him much either depending on the game. Like he can play well but its hit or miss with him

As nobody could have seen Campbell going in and having an incredible first half.

Buyout probs happens unless someone is willing to take a chance but I think for now Mrazek should go to the minors and get his confidence back. He looked lost and frail tonight. We didnt help much either but the 2nd goal is tough to defend him for.

Funny thing is we play better in front of Kallagren and Woll then we do Mrazek and Campbell. Especially in front of our net. Kind of sad if you think about it lul.

Dubas in general wont be fired. Benning was a worse GM and it took him what 9 years to get fired...

Dubas makes good trades, drafts well, and helps out the players anyway he can. If Leafs have limited success one of the big 4 (Nylander) will probs be moved but to soon to say rn.
