really? it’s a fair deal. i would ask the 23 1st over the 22 1st but other than that your getting a decent top 6 guy, a solid big LD with good offensive upside, and yes we actually need a big offensive LD. bas of right now we have tons of LD guys but Kashnikov is the only LD with offensive upside, Kinazev has offensive upside but he’s more a 2 way guy.

That's a damn good deal SJ is getting from Boston considering he's a rental.

Lohrei is LHD. We already have a logjam there. DeBrusk maybe but not enough for Hertl lol. Not even close.

The only offer that works for me is
To BOS: Hertl (50% Retained)
To SJS: Lysell, 2022 2nd

Reality: Boston and SJ are not good trading partners for Hertl.

I get what you're saying about DeBrusk. He's a decent 20+ goal scorer but very streaky.

Fabian Lysell is probably their best prospect so I wouldn't be surprised if BOS doesn't wanna give him up.

I'm guessing you swapped the 1st to a 2nd since Lysell's value is so high?

I guess the only reason I made this was bc I thought that Hertl would be the best 2nd line center available for BOS at the deadline...

I could actually see the Bruins accepting if Hertl agrees to an extension. If he was just a rental and didn't get re-signed, BOS fans would be pissed to see Lysell let go.

Hertl is our best player. Still young, still in his prime. He's not going anywhere without a substantial return coming back. We get he's on an expiring deal. But he's the most popular player in SJ since Jumbo left and fans would be pretty pissed if the return was lacking. This simply ain't it.

Like I said, not ideal trade partners since Boston's prospect pool is so weak they won't want to give up what it will take.

For reference, Lohrei is ahead of Owen Power in points in the NCAA.
