Description

Jets are out of the playoff race so might as well sell off assets and change the leadership and culture while simultaneously a retooling.

Might as well let Perfetti finish the season at 2C and see what he does with it. If it works, great we just need a winger… if not, we need a 2nd line C.

Not sure I like it, but wanted to see if I could acquire what we needed, with Scheifele to Boston as my main idea. Debrusk is a huge question mark for me… not really a fan of him being included, but wanted to grab a LW for that 2nd line.

If we need more cap space in the offseason we can move Dillon, but if not he’s fine right where he is.

Yes I know these are not going to happen, but damn it would be nice from a Jets point of view

You realize for Arizona will want a 1st and a 2nd and a prospect to retain that much on a deal with 2 years left.

Going from Bergy to Scheifele means the bruins pretty much have to change the teams identify from defensive minded to offensive, because bruins only make this trade if Bergy is gone it really just doesn’t work under Cassidy he would probably have to be fired too cause he runs a system that heavily relies on defense.

On the plus side, Wheeler has a 5 team trade list starting next season, maybe trade him to one of those teams if their interested at the draft.

As a side note, not directed at you specifically, I love the doublethink that happens around Arizona, where everyone talks about how they need to shed big money contracts cause they're poor, or whatever other BS reason is given, but simultaneously uses Arizona as a dumping ground for all of their bad contracts, as if Arizona would rather pay big money to bad players than to the good players they have that they "need to get rid of to save money".
