This is my annual attempt to get Manson on the Leafs

Additional Details:

Benoit added to fit under the max roster. Waiver exempt and goes straight to the Marlies. The Kesler contract to make it work if Anaheim won't retain Manson's salary

Additional Details:

Not happening, it's already been reported that Josh Manson wont waive for any Canadian team especially Edmonton and Toronto.

As a lifelong Leafs fan, I do not see this as an overpay. It's what is needed to make the defence playoff-ready; where Holl & Sandin are depth players, not starters.
I've also been hoping to see Manson make it this way for years...albeit I've heard he won't play for a Canadian team.

I know...but I put this out there every year and it's more likely than St. Louis trading Parayko

What if...now hear me out...these don't have to be things that can only happen in real life?
Hence the name of this forum..." Armchair-GM".

That said, it addresses a problem for the Leafs with a not unreasonable trade.
Will it happen? All but certainly not.
Doesn't stop me from wanting it to happen.
