Provorov is awesome, but Jets have a lot of LHD. Can't see them making that deal.
Also, Ehlers is awesome, I'd like to keep him

First one isn’t too bad, Brauns definitely not worth a 2nd, eh not bad, I like the LA one for both sides, I’m not a big fan on Zadina you could get more for Konecny, not way the Jets do that Provorov is so overrated imo and you’d definitely have to pay at least a 2nd for any team to take JVR and his contract

I'm not sure about the Detroit trade. If they are trading Zadina and a 2nd it's probably going to be for an LHD or a center prospect.

Would they be willing to add like someone like Dillon or Schmidt to the exchange if PHI adds a RHD or another forward here?

Bruins already have Foligno, I don't think they need Brossard. Don't need Foligno either

I don't think they have to, for two reasons

      1) ARI needs to add more cap, so they benefit by taking JVR's contract with no compensation

      2) PHI doesn't actively need to shed JVR's contract, they can afford to keep him around if necessary

It probably takes an overpay to get Ehlers... so maybe? But it would take a whole heck of a lot to get him

But why would they do that when they can go out and get another bad contract and get a pick with him

Because JVR is not only a bad contract, but also easily a top-6 winger in that team.

Say he starts lighting it up in there like Ghost did - they could sell him at 2023 deadline for a haul as a rental winger then.

They have a plenty of options, but honestly very little to lose.

It’s not like they’re are competing and it’s bedards draft class I’m sure they don’t want to pick up any top 6 players unless they are paid to

      yup but only for injures
also him and krug arent the best partners for CP
Krug and Faulk are paired together and is proably our best pair atm so they wont be split up
      we need a top4 LD
I like braun but hes not what we need

No but given their situation they need to bring in SOME good faces, they can't let their franchise die completely.

But as said, if PHI needs to pay to dump JVR, they're better off keeping him. I had Vatrano in that Giroux trade but he just got traded to NYR so we can just drop him out and place JVR in there.

I don’t think Florida would consider it with JVR in the deal he’s just too much for them contract wise and he would probably be playing similar minutes to Hornqvist in the bottom 6 you’d definitely have to pay a team a 1st or 2nd to take him

I mean placing JVR in the 4th line, not JVR in the deal. Just keep him around if you have to pay to move him.
