Pet Schmidt kap georgiev

Created by: contextkobe

Description
Value for petterson, kapanen, and Schmidt have been all over the place on this board, so go ahead and light me up on trade value, frens.

My question is this: is LHD on this roster significantly better than 21-22? Would this D revamp move the needle in terms of competitiveness?

Jets Accept
Might be able to get another mid/late pick, 4th, but wouldn’t refuse the deal if not

Unlikely the Jets move Schmidt until the off season after they see how everything shakes out, so that won't tempt them anytime soon.

So I’ve heard, that was what I had in mind when building this roster. Trade during offseason but before 2022 draft.

These are good deals for Detroit that fit well with the rebuilding plan.

The only one that I have reservations about is the Rangers one. We can, in all likelyhood, get a goalie just as good in FA. Georgiev needs a qualifying offer of $2.8 million so I doubt he'll sign for just 2.0.

Agreed. I think I just signed georgiev to 2m out of laziness lol.

I know Georgiev hasn't shown much on a sheltered roll, but I do like his upside.

I like the idea of Schmidt, in the off season I made a whole bunch of these with him coming to Detroit.

Same. He and Ned could be a solid tandem going forward. Some others like the idea of bringing in a UFA vet which is good chemistry, but this option provides more long-term stability until Cossa is ready.

Yeah, that would be possible then. It will all depend on how much, if any, retooling the Jets do.
