Curious to see if this is maybe an option. Both have similar cap hits (5th is included to balance out the cap hits) both have 3 years left, and both look like they could use a fresh start somewhere else. Free draft pick for Francis basically. Maybe a 4th instead but yeah. What do you guys think?

Could also be the ground working for a deeper trader with Gio or Larsson for the Leafs

Looks like a reasonable swap to me. Those 2 goalies are probably the closest you could get to an exact comparable in terms of performance this year (and similar contracts too)
