Ohh my god man..lol. The Leafs trade…lol.

E-Rod is just having the best season of his career. Gonna score 20 plus goals(has 17 so far). Playing on the 2nd line now with Kappy in the doghouse and playing inconsistently. And Kappy moved down to Carters line(3rd line).

E-Rod making just 1M per on a cap sprapped team.. let’s trade him for a 3.5M per, and underwhelming Kerfoot.. ya, great move.

I don’t even want to get into Marino.?? Like Really??

Marino ranks 3rd on the team in ice-time. A right-handed defensemen who can move the puck, skate out of trouble, has a high hockey IQ, has play-off experience and is just 24 years old. They don’t grow on trees. Pens could get more for him in the future too.

And he’s signed long term. Till 2027. And making 4.4M per. For what D-man are getting paid nowadays. That’s a steal.

And Dvorak is coming back from injury tonight, I think. But doesn’t he have has concussion problems.?? f so, no thanks for even the 2nd round pick.

Canucks decline. That trade makes no sense for the Canucks.

Almost any trade that would get Myers off the books the Canucks would do. In this case Pettersson is a good player despite playing the wrong side you'd have to do it.

Myers has been good this season, especially since the coaching change. Pettersson would be massively overpaid as the 3rd pair LD and we need RD so trading the RD that plays the most minutes would be a bad idea.

Doesn't even matter. Just make the trade and then look to trade Boeeser and Rathbone/Pettersson for a RD. The Myers contract is an anchor and this might be the one time its been tradeable since it was signed.
