probably the only one who wants this trade to happen. He's obviously not flashy but he's been playing pk for ana and is tough as nails. Something I love and think the wild need more of
the d are just some random deals I figured some depth moves nothing major

I'd be okay with Braun. Not to Brown and Deslauriers. I don't think any of them move the needle enough to waste a pick on.

I think a 2nd pair LD to pair with Spurgeon is more important that a 3rd pair RD for MN.

DesLauriers for a third is a good value. I get to see him play every night and you're right, he would improve most teams simply by attitude.

I just don't think the team thinks the same way. I don't wanna do big trade. for the rest of the season I'm fine with the ld just think we need someone for the 3rd spot. I really do belthis team needs to get bigger and tougher if they want a chance to move on. When watching the wild beside kaprizov (some nights) when they play against big physical teams they don't show up to much. Just the last game against Boston the 1 main line that stood out the most and usaully held the bruins in their end was the geek line. As you know imma big fan of those type of line ups. Look what happened against the Flames yes there talented but they also can man handle you

I'm seeing the same thing. The least physical d-men MN has is Spurgeon and Goli. Brodin doesn't run people though walls, but he does the Suter thing of get position and move players with his body. Upgrading Merrill isn't going to help the team much when the problem is with the Spurgeon pairing.

To have any success now/future MN needs Spurgeon to be a top pair quality d-man 5v5. Not the playing a sheltered o-zone 6D (highest o-zone starts, lowest 5v5 toi, not playing against other teams' top players, etc.) role he's had this season.

would you go all in for chychrun? obviously the ask is high and he's injured buts it's for 3 more years. Also would mea we'd lose fiala or dumba more then it already looks to lose one(I'd rather dumba then faila)

I'd be all over Chychrun for the right price, but I've said that for awhile.

whats the right price?? obviously not involving rossi or boldy. this year's 1, 2 which prospects lambos ,khovanov probably be more.

Also not sure if u listen to 32 thoughts the podcast in canada but Elliot Friedman mention wild maybe interested in Watson from Ottawa for some beef. But if it's watson or deslauriers I'd take deslauriers for 3or 4th. as always great chatting

PHI would probably ask for a 2nd, but a 3rd would be a fine return.

After getting Jost I don't see MN getting more bottom-6 FWDs this season. The only real hole in the FWD group is 1C, and there isn't any way to fill that.

I had Chychrun at something like a 1st + ROR/Lambos + Marat K/Beckman awhile ago. Now I don't know what the price would be.

I've always been a huge deslauriers fan. Seems like a Great team mate and will always stick up for them not to mention he's tough as nails. He's playing the pk I think I heard could help the wild in that area

Yes, I was a little surprised to see him out there on the PK the last few games, but he hasn't done badly. Your PK unit isn't going to look great when your last three opponents were Boston, Colorado and Florida.

It's not just the last 3 games I'm not a 100% on it but I think the last. here's a state I believe before the last 2 games I couldn't find russo tweet after the Boston game
Another disappointing special teams battle tonight and Preds (0 for 1 PP, 1 for 3 Preds PP); Wild PK 65.4% last 17 games; Wild GA 4.6 a game last 15

MN's PK has been bad for quite awhile. 21 PPGA in the last 20 games there are only 3 games where they didn't give up a PP goal.
