Like.... if that's what Hagel can get, how do you not? Not as young and lacks the extra year, but has a much longer track record as a good player. At 1.8mil this year and next, there's real precedent for a massive return there.

We won't get multiple 1sts like Hagel got, but I think something like I outlined above is attainable. For a guy it likely doesn't make sense to extend its certainly worthwhile

We've been talking about this for months but yes, Connor Brown is an extremely hot commodity. He is exactly what NHL coaches desperately want to add to their team.

Very good asset to trade for a rebuilding team... Problem is we are still considering trading that kind of asset after 5 full rebuilding years and with the kind of assets we started the rebuild with (Chabot, Stone, Karlsson, Duchene, etc). Not a very good look lol
