If the Yotes capitalize this deadline

Description
Official deadline is under 24 hours away this could be out dated real fast

McBain for a 2nd seems fair & probable, moving on

Acquiring a dead contract usually has that said team moving assets to get it off the books. Small trade and my values could be off greatly. AZ moves from a 6th to 5th to keep a hold of Weber's contract

Much like McBain deal, Kessel's going price (at 50% retained) is a 3rd, Rangers seem like a likely destination, make it happen

Boston likely looking for center depth, still need to compete with TB, FLA & TOR in their division, they go out and pick up Larsson for a fair price

3 big pieces is the price for Chychurn. LA is looking to gear up for the playoffs with injuries pilling up on defence. Parts with Vilardi who has not had the greatest season, picks up a good defensive prospect in Spence. Since AZ has 3 1sts this year, they pick up a lottery protected 1st next year from LA. This incentives LA to keep building towards playoffs if their 2023 1st is gone,

Last trade here AZ gets little but some value out of Galchenyuk. AZ can use Galchenyuk as an easy 13/14th forward depth piece (and has proven to play well with elite players come injuries) and into their hopeful long playoff run

I’m hoping Chychrun doesn’t get moved until the summer. Holding out hope Lou can get creative (or sign UFAs to make current roster players more expendable) to package something together for him. If NYI could get a Forsberg under contract for example I would able to stomach something like Beauvillier+2023 1st+Salo

Yotes should pay the habs to take the contract smile We don’t have any reasons to trade it and the Yotes actually have a big one to get it (cap floor)

Habs have 0 reason to give up assets for a contract we can just toss back onto LTIR. It might cost the Yotes a 3rd or more to get the contract considering Weber's contract is gold in today cap world. 7.8 aav for the next 4 years but you only need to pay 6 million total in those 4 years.
