bet the asking price is Lafrenière + 1st. Kakko (maybe needs to develop more) is bust level and i doubt the Rangers move Schneider. imo his value is higher than Lafrenière. my untouchable young players for the Rangers would be Schneider and Miller. i imagine they would retain 50% on that contract for that return

Yes, it's a good deal for the Rangers. Getting a number 1 center who is on a good contract with 1 year left. Elite fourth liner and rock RHD who has won two cups. Shesterkin is having a Hart season and can take you to the cup if he has help.

Different deals. Eichel's injury and cap hit were prohibitive. Hagel's return was arguably better than Eichel.
