Is this a joke? Bertuzzi can't play in Canada. And besides that is nowhere near getting Bertuzzi out of Detroit. Bertuzzi would start with Holloway+Broberg+Edmontons 2022 1st round pick+Edmonton's 2023 2nd round pick just look at the kind of hauls that rentals are getting.

No it's not a joke? Pretty sure Bertuzzi would come with an extension. And Holloway and Broberg and a 1st and 2nd are nowhere near what Eichel got in return. And Vegas paid half the price for Eichel just because of his neck injury.

Bertuzzi has had 1 great season, just one. Otherwise hes exactly what hes always been, a solid top 6 winger.
Also he isnt eligible to sign an extension now considering he has 1 more year on his deal (FA in 2023 offseason). The price for bertuzzi on this site is flat out insane.

Its true but eichel is a franchise center. Yes eichel had a ton of factors that took his value down but tyler bertuzzi should not be returning the equivalent of 3.5 1sts at least.
And dont forget the market wont be as big bc some gms wont trade for him bc of the vax

He can sign an extension come July 1, also he was having a great start to last season but that one injury he had put him out. Other than that he has been steadily improving every year. Also if it didn't start with that package why even bother trading him? We are very happy to keep him around.

Well considering Lehkonen for a first and a second I would say, it's not that far off. There was alot of over paying this deadline in my opinion so no reason to ask less than a kind ransom for Bertuzzi.

Tyler Bertuzzi being traded is all rumors unless you can show me that Yzerman said they are actively trying to trade him. In this situation Edmonton wants Bertuzzi and Detroit hasn't said they are trading Bertuzzi so where does Edmonton get the ability to name the price? Detroit holds all the cards here,
