Vegas needs to get rid of cap space. They have already traded Dadonov and now every team has the leverage to trade Dadonov. I cant see Wood and Bernier on this team because they have simply lost their spots.

Why are we giving an asset for Dadonov? No thanks.

And who has Wood lost his roster spot too? Unless he returns a very different player, which is possible given his hip surgery, but also jumping the gun. Kuokkanen and Johnsson are not more useful than Wood.

Vegas dumped Dadanov for a 2nd. No need to add a 4th to the trade.
Bernier is on LTIR and MIGHT retire. Not worth a 2nd based on his injury concern. It would be smart to add him to the Vegas trade for LTIR space if he remains on LTIR
Wood is worth more than future considerations
