You seem to be… optimistic and unrealistic. This future is a wash.

I Like all the trades but the gallager trade we are getting a worse player in return and we are giving of a pick.

That's probably the only semi-plausible proposal here.

Would you do this trade bringing in Petry if we turn around and trade hronek for konecny? So Petry replaces hronek on the right side and we add konecny?

No.

Petry is 34 years old and declining and way overpaid with a contract that can't be bought out. I wouldn't touch him with a barge pole.

I wouldn't have anything against trading Hronek if we had a replacement for him as I'm not impressed with his defensive play. I've tried a few times in the past to entice Toronto fans on this site to trade Liljegren to us but with little luck. A player like Liljegren would be the perfect replacement for Hronek in my eyes, skilled with high level of hockey-IQ that also defends well.

It's unfortunate that we're so stacked on the left side but barren on the right when it comes to defenders (prospects). If we could find a trading parter for McIsaac (first to lose waiver exemption) for an equivalent RD that'd be good for us.

Alex cotton is the only RD prospect I think has any value

Habs fans doing anything they can to dump Petry
U should see the ones where they send him to Buffalo for Mittelstadt or for a 2nd +
It’s bad

I'd rather trade him for Fiala. Konecny has been a - player in every year except one.
