I love Scotty but I think if you sign him for 4 more years after next season you're gonna be really unhappy with that contract.

I also think there's a good chance he prices himself out of what the Islanders would want to pay for RD3. He'll be hitting free agency as a 30 year old after playing for 5 years on a deal that paid him $1.45M - this is probably going to be his only chance to cash in big. I wish him the best in getting paid, but don't want the Isles to be the ones paying.
