Siegs is great defensively but 5 seems a bit to pricy

Brock Faber is the best asset in that trade with LA, and it's not close. Peterson is the story of goaltending in LA after Quick, there's no need for Blackwood (who has been, uhhh... not good to say the least).

All depends on Blackwoods value. Could be zero. Could be twice this. It’s as great a mystery to me as it is to anyone.

I do think Okhotiuk would be good pairing for Clarke or Durzi though. Good defensive player, good possession numbers and hits like a human missile. Looks like Devils may roll with Bahl behind Siegenthaler/Graves, with Ty Smith, Luke Hughes and Ethan Edwards on the way. So someone will have to shake loose.

True on the QO, but still Cats aren’t trading Knight unless he falls out of favor. The thing with Mercer is where is he going to play? As a center at best he’s a number 3 behind Barkov and Lundell. As a winger he has the potential to play with Barkov if Denisenko or Mackie don’t show they can perform but if they do then he’ll be the third line RW.
