What do you think of Ryan Fanti, just thought I'd ask since it seems like you know a lot about college guys

Dryden Mckay could go somewhere like Seattle because they don't really have a future goalie. Once Grubauer and Drieger leave, he could take that spot.

I could see Mann or McKay going to Columbus, outside of Tarasov, Merzlinkins and Graves they don’t have another goalie signed (Terasov is an RFA) it could be an easy track to the NHL for them.

I don't have much of an opinion other than (1) Thunder Bay seems to produce solid goaltending and (2) Stejskal was once a more popular name, but Fanti clearly beat him out of job.

Good signing.

I listed Strauss Mann as possible Seattle pickup.
I do think Kraken will add one of these goalies.

But not sure scouts love McKay as much as the stats would suggest they should.
There are games where MN State are giving up only 10-15 shots.

It’s not likely, but I think it would be fun if Dryden McKay were to sign with Buffalo. They have a pretty strong stable of young goaltenders in the organization, and many believe that both Portillo and Levi could sign this year. The reality is both of them are very young still and could go back to school next year. Not to mention any of them would need AHL time before they are ready to be playing in the NHL. Luukkonen will likely get his chance to play in the NHL full-time next year, and Buffalo doesn’t have any goaltenders under contract yet. If both Portillo and Levi stay in school one more year McKay could get his chance in the AHL next season and compete with both later for the chance to split time with Luukkonen unless a veteran goaltender is still needed.

He will more likely follow his buddy Brian Holonen and come to New Jersey.
