I think Geno signs for less than 4 years but not bad regardless

Detroit passes, Dumoulin will be 31 before next season starts, We're looking for a younger long term LD not an aging vet. Pettersson or bust.

I don't hate these moves, but I don't think this team is improved over what we are now. If we have a good run in playoffs I wouldn't mind running it back, but if we lose in first round I think its time for changes.

I am wary we could lose in round 1 again 100%, but it Depends on the changes, Imo despite 3 cusp We still owe Crosby and the core for what they’ve done so we need to stay competitive

I think we gotta just do whats best for the team. If we lose in the first round 4 years in a row it might be better to give them a chance to contend elsewhere. Love all of them, but I just don't know if it's doing them anygood keeping them if we know the teams window has closed. Especially with Letang because he wants a 5 year contract. We most definitely will be rebuilding before then. Ultimately it will come down to him about whether he wants to take a worse deal with us with less term or go elsewhere and get what he wants.
