To MTL:
30th overall pick, 151st overall pick
To ARZ:
29th overall pick
Canadiens trade down one spot to draft Tristan Luneau.
---
To MTL:
2022 2nd round pick (PIT), 2024 7th round pick (PIT)
To PIT:
Jake Allen (50% retained - $1,437,500)
Trade should only be done by MTL if Primeau proves he can take on a backup spot. Otherwise, unless a backup goalie is being acquired, keep away from making a trade like this.
---
To MTL:
Anton Khudobin, Ty Dellandrea, 2022 5th round pick (DAL)
To DAL:
Jeff Petry
Trade is made with the assumption that Klingberg isn't resigning with DAL due to his high asks.
---
To MTL:
Brendan Guhle
To ANA:
William Lagesson
Habs take a flyer on B. Guhle who hopefully works his way to the NHL at some point to play alongside his brother.

Letang
PP2
Gallagher
Pitlick - Dvorak - Hoffman
Romanov
*Personal preference having Pitlick wear 20. Whether he switches to another number that isn't 32 is fully up to him.
**See MTL/ARZ trade.
With Harris and Guhle cracking the roster on this ACGM, there's simply no room for Lagesson, as he's likely to be claimed on waivers, so the Canadiens trade him to the Ducks for the brother of Kaiden Guhle.
Forget Letang. I'd rather grab a cheaper vet, even if it's a LHD to play on the right side. Next year is a development year for our defense.
Edmundsson and Barron
Romanov and Savard
Guhle/Schueneman and a reliable partner
Give Guhle 9 games before deciding whether to keep him up. Get Norlinder in the AHL to adjust to American ice before giving him a trial run.
Harris, Lagesson, etc. can try out afterwards if neither sticks.
No real problems with the rest. I'll say if we're trading for Dellandrea, we should keep him up rather than Dauphin or Pezzetta.
