Alzner will get well more than $3.5M on a 4 year deal, sad to say.

While you have upgraded, you haven't done enough and at the same time your free agent signings are too light on $$ and if you think Conor Brown is worth $3.5M/year then you need to stop wasting time posting.

Boyle is UFA, he is draft exempt.

That's not how it works at all. Vegas can still take him by signing him to a new contract during the selection period and that would count as their selection from the Leafs. They basically have an earlier Free Agency period than the rest of the league.

- Postma and Tinordi are upgrades from Marchenko and Marincin. And should be available cheap.

- Really, outside of the D upgrades, I think they could use a scoring LW to play top 6 minutes. Poaching an RFA from a team bumping up against the cap might be possible. If not Sheary, then it might be possible to explore a little further.
Another possibility would be to trade Bozak and other pieces for a scoring LW, and slot Boyle into the 3rd line.
