I expect a few things about this to change:

Eller will be traded - frees up $3.5mil
Hags will be traded, retire, or bought out - saves ~$2.75mil (or half of that if bought out)

With your contracts:

Sammy will get 1-2years x ~2.5mil (if not traded)
VV will get 1-2 years x ~2.5-2.75mil

That will give ~ $8mil in cap relief to get a 2nd line forward (and move Oshie down to 3rd), a defensive-first LHD, and scout a potential veteran goalie
