Oh I forgot you had Thrun! Thanks for the insight on him! Lindholm on Boston… hmm, they are definitely lucky! That’s going to be a good top pair. Zellweger is too good, and there’s too much to say about him haha. He’s just going to be a great defence man, and you Anaheim fans should be excited for your future on defence! Also, don’t forget about Helleson! He’s going to be good too. Now speaking of guys the oilers should’ve picked, or guys that was once on the oilers, is Zegras.. that one still makes me sad.. what a great pick. You guys will be scary to go against in the future, especially with Terry playing the way he is.

Yes, and don’t worry about what others may say. This was a good post, and I definitely like it! Yes, some values are off, but it’s all about learning. You can’t find out what players are worth, if you don’t try, and learn. None of us are 100% right, but if we work together, we can have a fun time on this site, and possibly figure out some values on players.

Ducks are gonna be one of my favorite teams to watch in a few years. Currently they are my 5th favorite team and there definitely gonna jump up to top 3 in the next few years

Haha, yah Getzlaf was a great player. This is going to make the pacific division so much better! Everyone says the pacific sucks.. haha, it’s going to be great one day. With Calgary, Edmonton, Vegas, LA already being decent teams, we have Vancouver, and Anaheim coming up in a few years, and San Jose, and Seattle is no where to be found haha. Not yet! These teams just need to not rush the process, let your prospects grow, and they will be a great team again! I’m actually excited for this team… also, you have Gibson, and Dostal in net. That’s very good.

His defensive game has really improved this season. He isn't going to be a shutdown D-man or anything, but his game is waaay more rounded now.

Oh I definitely agree. However, if he can round it out a bit more, and make it better, he would be insane! It’s been a while since I’ve seen a player like him, that is that good that fast. I will admit, I’m a big Bouchard fan, and I believe Bouchard is great all around, but Zellweger, is very good all around. I have watched some of the games, and he was always fantastic. I love the way he knows where to place the puck, and if he makes a mistake, which is rare, he fixes it with a very good back check/defensive play! You guys are going to be a good team in the future.

I really hope the 2022 1st is Jiricek (if available). I'm unsure if Helleson can become a 2nd pairing D-man. I also hope Thrun actually signs next year. I think he will (I'm not as negative as some others are about this), especially since he'll attend development camp this summer, but you never know.

If Jiricek isn't available though, who I'd want most in the 7-10 range (if available) would be Nazar, Lambert or Yurov (if he comes over to NA immediately without complications) (all 3 are RWs + maybe Kemell or Lekkerimäki but I wouldn't take a Sniper). I do think it'll either be a Winger or a RHD. Really hope Bichsel is available when the Ducks get to draft again in the 20s (hopefully 20s not 30s).

Agreed. He's a lot of fun to watch. He should do that + get a bit stronger, that should really help him get ready for the NHL. He can be a really good Top 4 D-man if everything goes right.

Can't see it. If he drops out of the Top 20, I'd be really surprised. But if you want a LHD, you might be lucky and Mintyukov is available. He could go in the Top 20 as well, but he's more likely to drop a bit imo.

If Mateychuk isnt available by our pick i'd want one of Pavel Mintyukov, Ivan Miroshnichenko, Seamus Carey, Luca Del Bel Belluz, Jagger Firkus, or Isaac Howard. Those guys look pretty good to me.
