Description
With this upcoming cap issue I thought moving fiala and foligno who’s two contracts next year most likely add north of 9 million to the cap could be expendable. With minnisota having a late first and the early second I could see that being good ammunition to give flexibility. Walsh is an offensive defenseman on the right side which will fill that gap and Foote overtime can be a great middle six power forward. I’ve seen a ton of different proposals for fiala so I can imagine everyone has a different opinion on his return. But every team in the nhl expects him to be moved which I feel lowers the price tag a bit

We aren't moving Marcus foligno. He's not available, at all. You want foligno, how about you gives us Hughes. Minnesota isn't trading Talbot to take on worse G. That offer isn't close to getting fiala. So with all due respect, no.

You're right - Connor McDavid 50% retained in Edmonton to AZ which retains another 50% of that so hes on a 75% discount for McDavid they would absolutely say no for Foligno. Is this Bill Guerin in disguise?
