trading Formenton is a really bad idea, he is going to lead or be among the tops in SHG, his speed on the PK is too menacing to trade him, and Joseph is not as fast as formenton

Why split up Tkachuk-Norris-Batherson?

Haven't they been together for two years? From the Sens games I've seen they look like a stellar line.

What would Formenton cost to resign? With him being a RFA. I still like the idea instead of Formenton it being Jarventie. We can slide his contract past the cap hell. I agree I would love this years but Ottawa will do everything to keep it. It may actually depend on how many suitors there is for Fiala.

2-3mill ish for 2-3 years, Wild should ask for Brown and ask for retention, at 1.8M he would be great for Wild and would cost 2-3M less than Fiala to sign long term after, he may not be as good a scorer as Fiala, be he is a excellent PKer and can get a few SHG and is good defensively

OTT should target Giroux also, they need his Vet experience and Faceoff wizardry to mentor Norris, Stu and Pinto
