Description

I don't think the Caps actually make too big a splash this offseason. Eller and Sammy will go, they'll bring in a veteran goalie (Varly makes a lot of sense, though I'd love to see them go after Gibson), and bring in a replacement for Schultz on the backend. Subban is just fun to put there, no idea if he'd take that salary or if the Caps want him.

Larsson is the only UFA I see them bringing back, as he's already contributed nicely and the acquisition cost is worth keeping him around for a little while longer.

Otherwise, the youth movement begins in earnest next year.
