Depends on if they're healthy or not...I mean, just adding Stone (43 games missed) and Patches (45 games missed) and this is a different team...add guys like Martinez, a full season of a healthy Eichel, Lehner, Whitecloud, etc., and that's a much different team.

I like Chandler Stephenson, and he's had a heck of a year, but he's not a 1C, and that's where they've had him for a lot of the year. If they're healthy-This is a much different team.

Re: the trades-Vegas is going to have to pay to dump Dadonov, and I'm assuming if they were intent on moving Broissoit it might be a similar situation. That's a lot to play an average backup.

A healthy VGK team is dangerous. Will they ever be healthy again? That remains to be seen. I'm sure a lot of people will sleep on them next year though.

Edit: If memory serves correctly, more than half of the teams in the playoffs last year were technically over the cap. Tampa was just a bit eggregious about it, and Vegas handcuffed themselves with it this year.

Nobody is paying these prices for these players, and the Blues (who have no use for an expensive and typically poor back-up) would NEVER help Vegas anyway.

Ah... I mis-remembered the Dadonov trade. I thought it was Dadonov for a 2nd, not Dadonov + a 2nd for nothing. OK, that one will have to change. But the Blues still need a quality goaltender once Husso's gone. [Pre-emptively: Yes, I am aware of Jordan Binnington. I am making fun of Jordan Binnington.]

Geez I don't even know where to begin.

- He's not quality, and certainly not for his bloated salary.
- The Blues have other goalies.
- Even if they did need one there's cheaper and better options. Loads.
- Folks really resent Binnington irrationally, huh? Sucks to be those people.
- Again, the Blues will not do ANYTHING to help Vegas. They'd put Schenn in goal before they helped Vegas.
