    I don’t see the Sabres being interested in Barrie
    Especially with Dahlin showing he can play on the right side at a high level

    I just have the sabres as a placeholder. I think this is the kind of value the oilers can squeeze out of the right team just cause NHL GM's love their RHD OFD's that can pot 40+ pts and QB a powerplay

    a regular 40+ point rhd should get you a 2nd easily. i mean ristolainen when for a mid 1st round pick and barrie is much better than risto

    A perennial 50 point RHD on a great contract for just a 2nd? I don't think I've ever seen a trade like that in real life. So weak.

    But Philly paid for a tough defenseman who also gets 40pts
    Not too Mann just rams are looking for a guy like Barrie imo

    gotta appease the masses on this one. IMO I legit think a team will pay something in the realm of a 1st for him. not saying he's worth that but hockey men think barrie ticks all boxes

    I mean if risto garnered a 1st, 2nd and a 3rd pair dman. A GM will be willing to pay a price well beyond a 2nd. I am just taking into account that the oilers don't have leverage cause of their cap situation

    Nobody thinks he "ticks all boxes". If he did, he'd be getting $9M. He's worth a 1st as there are very few defensemen who can bring the kind of offense Barrie does.
