Forsberg will cost more than $9,000,000 in Montreal. And Detroit can take hometown kid Frank Nazar with either their 7th or 8th overall pick instead.

    No.
    1. Nashville gets hit with recapture penalties if Weber retires, regardless of where he retires. No incentive there.
    2. That might be the kind of number that gets forsberg to extend in nashville, not Montreal. No joke i think it would be closer to 12 in montreal when factoring in taxes, and the issue of them being bad.
    3. I don’t really think columbus is going to be in the business of trading down maybe as many as 20 spots.

The rest seems fine, though if Romanov thinks he’s a top pair guy, not sure why he’s taking 3.8.

I was just going based off the draft rankings I've seen online. Definitely draft BPA but I'd like for them to draft Nemac in either spot after 1oa. And personally I don't want to sign Forsberg but Gaudreau will cost way to much and I'd rather wait and pray that Huberdeau becomes available.

It’s an interesting concept. But in the end, I think the Jackets would get caught holding the bag. Too risky for the Jackets. I think they pass. But was creative.

Jackets aren’t trading down AND taking on Petrys contract. He has negative value for the jackets

Thanks. I do think it's interesting as well. I wanted to include Dvorak over Petry in the trade initially, but I figured put Petry in there to grant his request to move closer to home and also add a cap dump from the CBJ side. I think with a little bit of fiddling this trade could actually work for both teams
