While you have 50 contract spots available and not all of them have to be gems... I can't get behind this signing. Sometimes you have to just let them go.

Showed genuine potential on one of the worst Medicine Hat teams I've ever seen. Record and SV% are horrid, no denying it. But looking at seasons before this, he's much better, and he didn't have much to work with this year. Positioning is alright and the potential is there, but he needs to prove next year that this was on Medicine Hat, not on him.

Worst comes to worst, Washington will be alright with losing him, given the presence of Stevenson and Gibson in the pipeline.
