Gonna need to move a couple forwards this summer.
I think they draft a skilled Forward with Chicago’s pick and Defense with CBJ pick.

Or Jarmo shocks the world again with another blockbuster.

Cooley or Nemec is a pipe dream, but realistically i am hoping for Jiricek with Chicagos pick as i think he should be there even if i do really want a skilled forward. At 12, im looking at Ostlund, Lekkerimarki, Gauthier or Lambert

I want Cooley bad enough that if they had to trade both 1sts to move up and get him I’d be okay with that.

I think Savoie and Geekie are really compelling, but could see them going RHD at 6 as well.

Building on these... I think that RHD is the pick at 6 if Nemec or Jiricek are there and Cooley is gone. If none are, I will be very sad

Defence is my main concern with Columbus, they gave up the 3rd most goals in the league last season, only Arizona, who was total tank mode, and New Jersey, who deployed 7 goalies last season, gave up more. Columbus also scored pretty well last season, finishing 14th and will Johnson in the line up all season that number should go up.

For draft I want Juricik at 6 (or Nemec if we win lottery) and a center, Nazar is a name I’m leaning toward currently but could change by the draft.

you dont want lambert... and pretty sure cbj dont want either.

I think Nazar could be a sleeper. Everything I’ve read about him screams CBJ. I think y’all are right about RHD if available with Chicago’s pick. If not, they can take a good LHD with our own pick
