I don't necessarily want Scheifele traded but feel like if he's requested a trade then maybe it's best to move on now, I know Chevy said he hasn't but he would never say if he really did so who knows for sure.

I'm probably one of the few but Scheifele's comments didn't bother me, I don't blame him for wanting to know where this team is going cause I've asked the same question for years now.

I just don't think this team is good enough without some serious lineup improvements and I don't have faith in Chevy to make them, hell I'm not sure he even knows what they are so maybe moving Scheifele for a nice return of futures isn't the worst idea, always hoping the next drafted kid can come along and save the day in Jetsland.. 😆

Him and kariya both signed with colorado for 1 year and selanne had an absolute awful year, he said his career was saved by the 04 lockout I believe it was. He got his knees all cleaned up and had the time to rehab it fully. Then went on to finish off his hall of fame career. Minesota is looking better and so is ottawa so I’m thinking Winnipeg has the potential to get it right also and especially with previous track record. Just needs to get back and track, and not worry as much about character but also skill and what about my boy Lemieux potting one last night. Not as much get along go along, needs some characters and black sheep. Need some more characters and possibly less Boy Scouts squad. But probably a misguided opinion lol

I think Chipman probably got a clear message as there was not a single sellout this year with an average attendance of 13,685 or 1,636 empty seats per game. I excluded the 4 games with reduced capacity.

Edit: even the two 50% capacity games didn't sell out.

If they don't get Trotz, looks like James Patrick may have inadvertently taken himself out of the running. He cites names of those calling the Jets locker room terrible.
