Taking Foligno from Boston is actually doing them a favor at this point. Not to mention you want to hand them a productive player in Dadonov at half price? Just keep Dadonov then. He is either productive and helpful to us or he becomes attractive trade bait at the deadline.

Why not? I think it works. Portillo can be Petersen's backup when Quick retires and Sabres could benefit from finding a future Skinner or Olofsson replacement.

Just looking for the pick. Don't see where Dadonov fits in the lineup.

Because Matt Villalta might be the backup we need, and if not, we can draft someone this round or next without having to give Fa-gem-o up.
