probably not enough for nj to pull the trigger but vegas desperately needs a top 5 pick. nj gets a goalie and quite a few prospects, even an nil ready one. Blackwood gets a fresh start, both clubs benefit

That is atrocious for vegas. Losing Cormier and Morzov basically wipes out the remaining prospects that could make impact soon for vegas

how is this atrocious? vegas is in win now mode. Cormier could be a Shea Theodore.. or he could be Erik brannstrom. to get the 2nd overall pick you're gonna have to give some **** up. Gets lehner off the books and Blackwood a fresh start. Cormier will never make this roster because we have Theo so why not trade him for something we desperately need? I would love to keep Morozov but nj is gonna want nhl ready players if they're giving up 2OA

the main point of the trade is getting a cheaper goalie, lehner off the books, and back into the first round. Seattle isn't touching this because they have that albatross of a contract in grubaeur
