Guerin says yes and no take backsies. Personally not a huge Scheifele fan, but at that price it's a no brainer. Winnipeg will get a lot more for him.

Value simply is not there in the Scheifele trade. You would be able to get a lot more for him.

Extremely doubtful that Winnipeg moves Scheifele in division for a rental defenseman and a left shot winger they have no need for.

Still think Winnipeg is getting robbed here. Dumba is an OK 2nd pairing guy and Greenway is a 3rd line winger. A 1st line center is worth quite a bit more than that. If you threw in our first it's closer to fair, but I still think Scheifele would fetch more.

Even extended, Dumba doesn't play a style Winnipeg needs. He's just another Pionk. The Jets need a large, physical RHD. Plus Dumba will likely want far too much on his next contract for the Jets to be able to fit cap wise.

Detroit declines, Schmidt for the same price is a much better fit for Detroit.
