Firstly , Seattle deal is very far fetched I KNOW!

When you view this post you have to look at the big picture.

Leafs took the back to back champs to game 7, arguably outplaying them all series while the refs heavily handicapped us.


The key is to not change too much

Essentially this lineup is the same team but swapping

Holl, kerfoot and Muzzin

For

Liljegren ( solidfying a roster spot) , Klingberg and Sheary

It’s essentially an upgrade at two positions ( Holl and Muzzin) while adding an actual top 1 right defenseman . Sheary could very well be as good or even better than Kerfoot .

Why on earth would Seattle even consider that?

I’ve seen some crazy stuff on here before,
but that’s right at the top of the list of things that will definitely not happen

Man I’m not going to take anything you say to heart serious because you’re a Buffalo fan. I said in my description the Seattle deal was far fetched. But they are both good players on suitable contracts and they can eat cap.

Yes they are both good players but not worth Berniers. The only way Seattle trades Berniers to the Leafs is if Matthews is coming back

It's bad.
All UFA signing at around half what they could get elsewhere.

But Seattle or Arizona trade are a joke. No way either think about for 2 seconds

The thing is you’re getting prospects while upgrading elsewhere. Mihkeyev has earned a spot over Kerfoot, klingberg is way better than Muzzin and is a top 1 RD, and Liljegren deserves holls spot in the immediate 6 anyways lol.

This is the logic behind this though. You’re telling me if someone came to you and said “ Klingberg, sheary, domi for Kerfoot, Muzzin and Holl?” You guys aren’t taking that deal?
