Forsberg will get $9.5M from the Kings as a more realistic starting point.

The Anderson value is also way off. Lias Andersson will be packaged with someone to another team.

Everything else is pretty close though.

Yeah, the Forsberg number is wishful thinking. That said, Anderson I don't think is that far off. He's coming off his ELC, doesn't have arbitration rights, and look at Matt Roy's number, when he gave up a UFA year. I think his number will be pretty cost controlled.

He played top-pair minutes and looked dynamite in the playoffs against the best player in the league. I think he at least gets what Walker and Roy can get in.

No, we won't be including one of our two NHL-qualified LDs in any trade for Chychrun. The object of the exercise is to ADD at LD, not upgrade from Bjornfot to Chychrun. To put it another way, trading Bjornfot or Anderson for Chychrun leaves us vulnerable to the same injury disease that hurt us so badly this season.

I think the Kings make the deal, and I think there's no way Bjornfort isn't included. That was before it seemed like the Kings soured on him to end the season. I included Walker in that deal, but I think he more likely goes somewhere else. The Kings need his cap hit. I don't think Mikey Anderson is available in any way.

Sure, but he still is an RFA who isn't arbitration eligible. His raise is only going to be so much unless he gets locked up long-term.
