Lots of money, Evolving Hockey just came out with contract projections for this year's UFA's. Does the Buff tax double contract amounts. They have MAF at 4.7m for 2yrs. Like the Konecny trade.

I'm not sure the difference between olofsson and konecny is a top 32 pick and a top 64 pick

Maybe not, but Olofsson isnt getting you Konecny, and Philly will need something good to move off of him..also the difference isnt huge, but what Konecny can add to the Sabres is what they need.

Konecny isnt that good, even if you dont like Olofsson thats just a waste of assets for 0 upgrade

That's your opinion on Konecny, and I have no problem with Olofsson, only do that deal if his contract demands get out of hand anyway

and stats, however, with a 1st and 2nd? Just sign Olofsson for a year or 2 and move him for assets at the end of it, they arent strapped for cap

I like olofsson a lot. I'd consider moving him for legit right handed d help, but that's about it. Adding this much to olofsson to, I guess upgrade, a middle 6 winger spot, come on, nobody is doing that.

I would sign Olofsson first. Evolving Hockey has him at 4yr 4.9m

So do I, pretty much what we talked about before, I would only move him for a RD, or a piece for a better top6 W or if his contract demands got out of hand. Nice talking, can't go to the blog

How much better is Konecny than VO ? 10 pts at higher cap hit ? That is not worth 2 top 50 picks.
