Top 10 protection and that seems fine to me.

Even Eichel had protection on his first so lets be realistic here.

The top ten protection makes no sense to me. That would push the puck to 2024 which would do nothing for the cap window they want to use this Fiala situation to ease. Devils would already be getting “top 10 protection” by not being the 2022 #2.
