If Miller is being traded to Pittsburgh Marino better be coming back. As a fan I would be very disappointed with this return

Tampa can't afford Marcus Pettersson and they don't need him.

And J. T. Miller isn't happening without John Marino heading to Vancouver.

Reportedly Kris Letang wants $8,000,000 x 4 years and Vincent Troceheck get more as well.

And for the last time a 20 man roster isn't sustainable over a 82 game schedule. Players will get injured and you've 0 cap space for short term injuries and long term injuries.

Then the Pens would also be removing the 1st and the 2nd, and adding a 3rd.

curious as to why you wouldn't like the return. Kapanen is still very young and you can get him at a lower price than marino (I get they're different positions). Legare is a very promising prospect, arguably a top 3 prospect for the penguins currently. You also get a 1st round selection, which is likely to be around 20th overall. not so sure they'd move marino especially if they weren't able to sign Letang

what makes you think trocheck will get much more than 6.5? and as I said in another post this return is extremely fair as kapanen is still very young and you can get him at a lower price point than a marino (I get they're different positions), legare is an extremely promising prospect and the first round selection would likely be around 20. if you actually believe Letang wouldn't stay over 350k I don't know what to tell you. If they need to give him an extra year they will.

Sorry i didn't phrase it right, What i meant to say is Trocheck will get more term the $6,500,000 is fine. In fact i think he gets around $6,500,000 x 5-6 years.

Because Kapanen isn’t needed and isn’t all that great anyways. A middle 6 player. Legare is ok but wouldn’t be anything to move the needle. Canucks have better prospects and a later 1st is again not much. Both Legare and the 1st will take time to develop and might not even turn out.

agree to disagree. Kapanen would slot in the Canucks top 6 right now.
