Value is fine for the Isles trade, I guess, but I just don't see it happening. Islanders have no one in the system to step up to RD3, and they already have their top 9 more or less filled out for next season - so unless they move out a Bailey or Beauvillier, they're going to have more guys than spots available. I guess I could see it happening in tandem with another move to address that, but that's the only way I see it.

I get the logic behind the Gibson-Nylander trade, I just don't think the value is right.

Can't see Washington giving up anything to pick up Muzzin - and even if they did, Muzzin can block it. You're probably just going to have to accept that you're stuck with him for now.

Holl probably gets a little more back - I could see Holl & a 6th getting back a 3rd somewhere instead of this.

Ottawa has no need for Mrazek with multiple goalies already signed for next year. Just buy him out.

Also - Nichushkin signs in the $6M range, not for $3.3M. He's signing somewhere else if that's all the cap you have to give him.
