Selling Nemec
Dude, I really appreciate the hope, but OTT will never trade Brady. He is too much of an identity guy for the team + Tkaptain.
Nemec is nice but unproven. He's not getting any captain other than maybe Horvat as a rental. NJ should hold their prospects this year and watch the team elevate to god status. They're gonna be that good

Honestly it depends, PD wants to save his job and we have a lot of mid F prospects in the system. God damn LA is so well built to emerge from a rebuild

I just think the Kings might want a veteran for their playoff push. Wondering if it could be goalie Talbot.</div></div>
For this year I'd happily part w Talbot for Roy but nobody else. OTT is in a crucial phase of the rebuild and LA clearly needs D or G... thing is they could cover both with a single Arizona trade. Guess we'll see

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>PuckLuck_77</b></div><div>For sure, that thought process totally makes sense. Roy's value to LA is infinitely higher than Walkers, especially right now. Walker isn't playing poorly by any means, he just plays different minutes and in different situations than Roy.</div></div>
Yeah the thing is the Sens need a stay at home more than a puck mover, got too many of those. Walker would pair next to... probably nobody ideally in OTT. Roy would fit everywhere. Must be nice to have the RHD depth that LA does right now lol

However, draft picks is not what the Kings need.
They need solid left shot defencemen instead like a Chabot or a Sanderson.</div></div>
Yeah I get that, we are also rumoured to be chasing Chychrun so... best of luck!

Thread:
Just Fired Dorion
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>PuckLuck_77</b></div><div>First of all, Roy isn't being traded because he's too important to the make-up of the Kings current defense. He's criminally underrated in the capfriendly world outside of the LA fanbase because numbers trump everything when you don't know much about a player, and producing numbers is not his job. But for the sake of conversation:
LA wouldn't accept anything less than a 1st + another good asset for Roy. He's their best defensive D-man not named Doughty, and he and Mikey Anderson are the only ones that can consistently eat minutes currently. Its why the Kings are looking for another piece for their blue line to pair with him. For the price of a 2nd, the Kings would move Sean Walker because he's replaceable with the prospects they have in the pipeline. With LA moving Faber out for Fiala, there's no current replacement for the type of minutes Roy provides in the King's system. So, Roy is going to be more expensive than most think if they want to pry him out of LA.</div></div>
Cool, thanks for explaining. Judging Walker vs Roy, obviously anyone would prefer Roy, and the Sens need his type more than anything, Gotta hope lol

not even close to top 9 bud. Sens are going big game hunting for their missing top 6 winger. Pearson doesn't satisfy that at all. Next.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Claesson4Norris</b></div><div>I think at some point someone has to be touchable. On the roster I have 2,7,9,18,19 and 72 as your untouchable core, and for prospects I have Sandy, Greig and Pinto, as well as one of the two top RHD prospects. You can't bring in Quality if you're afraid of giving quality in return, and Ottawa NEEDS to bring in quality this summer.</div></div>
I'm 100% with you, but a lot hinges on this coming draft. If either of the top 2 RHD fall to #7, I'm willing to flip guys. Otherwise, Ottawa has F depth (to me Greig is a top 6 with a little seasoning). The top 3 are Greig, JBD, Thomson. After that go crazy, but those positions and qualities are so hard to acquire.
