Ahhhhhhh yes. Vancouvers 2 best players for 3 tier 2 prospects (at best) two late firsts and a cap dump.

Where are the high end assets? Where is the insentive for Van?

I don't know what you consider tier 1 prospects but I don't think those guys ever get traded. Niemela is a top 25 prospect in the league (according to many, many lists), could see Knies getting swapped with NRob here.. Not that this trade would ever happen but when considering trades of the past, its not horrible value

This would give the Leafs two 2nds and a third over the 2021-2024 drafts. Holy crap would they be horrid in the future when that bill comes due.

I don't think so. Miller at 50% retained is worth Robertson, and a late 1st. Demko is easily worth Knies, a late 1st and if not Niemela then something approaching his value. Then Mrazek as a cap dump upgrades the extra part for Demko into Niemela at a minimum. I would lean towards underpayment considering the money retained and cap dump of Mrazek.

Maybe ANA says yes to those trades. If paul is signing that cheap JBB isn't letting him walk for 3 mil he's wearing a lightning bolt. JBB didn't give up those asets to just let him walk that cheap.

Oh my god, another F#@@ Muzzin trade to the isles! NO WE DON'T want him! Stop.
Also Mayfield would cost a hell of a lot more if the isles wanted to move him which we aren't.
