Canes won't move Hanifin for player who is 2 years away from hitting ufa. Not even if it's as good player as Panarin.

Top 10 scorer in the league both years he's been in the league, and Carolina has said they'd move Hanifin for immediate scoring help.

Campbell can't play anymore he's lost his game. I don't think New Jersey takes that plus the hawks don't have a 2017 2nd anyway.

Campbell can still be a 6/7. He has the experience and is still decently good defensivly. Depreciation is the only thing bringing him down, but atleast its constant. Shero loves Defensive players and hossa fits that playing style. Maybve change the 2nd for a B level prospect or something along the lines of that. Maybe add panik and then NJ throws in a pick.

But why does Chicago trade Hossa in the first place? He was one of the best players in the Nashville series. I rather give Pokka league minimum to be a 7D and let Forsling play with TVR. Save some money sign a good face off center.

I just don't see Canes gamble with Hanifin that is Panarin willing to re-sign after 2 years.

Hossa fits way too well in the Hawks system and was the best forward in the playoffs. So let's trade him. Makes sense. On top of that sign or worst dmen of the playoffs. Yea one star.

I continue to wonder if you guys watched the same team all year that I did. Or maybe you didn't watch very many games throughout the season. Campbell played well nearly all year. He did just fine in the playoffs.
You can't seriously sit here and tell me that Campbell was worse in the playoffs than Oduya.

I can tell you the Hawks dressed 7D because they didn't know which one would play worse in game 4. Are you kidding? Campbell has been terrible. He turns the puck over so much.

We absolutely didn't watch the same team play 86 games this year. He's not a top 3 or 4 defenseman anymore but he sure is a lot better than most 5th defensemen in the league.
