I see a little reason for CBJ to accept. Johnson will not make their team and 6th+12th picks have more value than 9th+16th+28th to me.

ARI needs the picks more, they're under complete rebuilding.

TOR and VGK trades are pretty ok to me.

This is definitely the only swap of firsts I could see CBJ doing, but I think the only way it happens is if the guy Jarmo was targeting at six is already gone by then.

That's way to expensive for Liljegren especially that you risk giving a lottery pick to the Connor Bedard lottery. He is good but no where to deserve that cost and contract

We aren't making the playoff with that team so yes, it would be a lottery ticket...We are not a borderline starter and top 4 D away from getting 15 more wins than last year. The first round pick is almost sure to be in the top 10

Is there a reason why you would give liljegren that much money?

Yes that team makes the playoffs. Literally everything you said they need is addressed above. Thats one of the best d groups in the league and Kuemper is one of the leagues best right now. This roster is certainly not finish further back than they are now (edit i did 2 of these, forgot i switched Kuemper with Husso, sign Kuemper if you dont think Husso is legit. Hes still one of the leagues best right now)

Thats what you have to do with RFAs, if you give them a value contract, the other team just matches. Part of the reason why offer sheets dont happen
